Service to mark war anniversaries

More than 500 people from across Bedfordshire attended a service to mark the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of the First World War and the 70th anniversary of D-Day.

The service was held by Helen Nellis, Lord Lieutenant of Bedfordshire, at St Mary’s Parish Church in Woburn on Sunday (May 11).
