Santa takes up residence at grotto in hospice

Can you see the reindeer - Santa’s on his way to Moggerhanger?

The Magic of Christmas begins on Saturday, November 28 and Sunday, November 29 from 11am – 4pm, when Santa arrives with his reindeer and elves at Sue Ryder St John’s Hospice.

Santa’s first visit to the hospice promises to be a truly magical event for all the family.

Santa will be coming straight from the North Pole ready to open his Grotto and take up residence to help the boys and girls go through their Christmas lists.

The Grotto offers a 20-minute crafting experience, pictures and time to ask the big man any important questions.

There will be lots to keep the whole family entertained including a wonderful craft fayre with gifts galore and refreshments.

Fay Boissieux, Santa’s chief elf said: “We’re so excited to see Santa at St John’s this year, it really will be a magical Christmas.”

Parents take each child into the grotto where they will get the chance to make reindeer food or Christmas cards.

The elves will then take the children on a winter walk within the Grotto to meet Santa and there will be an opportunity to take photos.
