Ampthill Festival has announced that Razorlight will be the headline act for the Charles Wells sponsored AmpRocks on Friday, July 3.
Razorlight are the iconic rock band formed by lead singer and rhythm guitarist Johnny Borrell and known for a string of hits that include Golden Touch, In the Morning, Somewhere Else and the No 1 single America.
AmpRocks chairman, Ian Scarr, said: “Following on from last year’s sell out, when we had the opportunity to book Razorlight we jumped at the chance. Their chart topping single also ties in nicely with our Ampthill Festival New York theme this year.
“We are very excited to have Razorlight headline our event which is fast becoming the go to festival for bands and music fans alike and we still have another band to announce in the next two weeks to add to the bill which also includes the fantastic Cuban Brothers.”
On Saturday, July 4, Ampthill Park Proms will feature Royal Academy graduate Rebecca Bottone, while Chas & Dave close the Festival’s Gala Day on Sunday, July 5h.
Tickets are available for AmpRocks priced £22 plus booking fee at http://amprocks.eventbrite.com
