Road closed after two-car crash on A600 between Bedford and Shefford

Part of the A600 between Bedford and Shefford was closed this morning, Thursday, January 15, after two cars were involved in a collision near Dead Man’s Cross.

Magpas Helimedix were called to scene at around 8.30am where a man in his 40s had been hurt, but had not suffered any life-threatening injuries.

The Magpas team assessed the man and administered pain relief for the patient before working alongside EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews to remove him safely out of the vehicle.

The man was then taken to Bedford Hospital in a stable condition, by land ambulance.

Two EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Crews, an EEAST Ambulance Service Rapid Response Paramedic and an EEAST Ambulance Service Paramedic Officer were all present at the scene, alongside the police.
