Their sale of homemade sponges, cupcakes and biscuits raised more than £200 for the Eastern Legal Support Trust, which funds free legal advice in the Eastern region of the UK, including law centres and free legal advice centres which have had to fill the void left from cuts to legal aid in recent years.
The surplus cakes were donated to the Friday ‘soup run’ at De Parys Avenue, Bedford.
