Rain could not dampen the competitive spirit at the annual Bedfordshire Games 2015.
The event, put on for teenagers and adults with learning difficulties, was funded by the Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation’s Advocacy Fund.
On Tuesday (July 7), runners braved downpours to take part in the fun and there were a series of track and field events during the event, held at Bedford International Athletics Stadium.
Disability specific events were also held including wheelchair javelin, wheelchair racing and the assisted walk.
This year was the inaugural year of the Bedfordshire Freemasons Award for the team that demonstrates outstanding sportsmanship.
