Posh party marks 35 years of fast food success in High Street
A fast-food joint was transformed into a formal dining room, complete with red carpet and live musicians, to mark its 35th year of business in Bedford.
McDonald’s threw a posh party for 80 guests, including Mayor Dave Hodgson, Richard Fuller MP and members of the Bedford BID team.
Franchisee Ismail Anilmis, who started as a crew member when the High Street restaurant first opened, now owns it along with six others. He said he is “thrilled” to be celebrating 35 years.
