Central Beds residents are being asked where they think the local council should prioritise its spending.
The authority’s consultation is asking residents what services they think the council should focus on, where they feel savings could be made and whether council ttax levels should change. It estimates it will have to find £13m in savings for the 2015/16 financial year.
Councillor Maurice Jones, executive member for corporate resources and deputy leader, said: “We have a strong track record in cutting expenditure and delivering value for money but as budgets continue to be squeezed and we face difficult decisions about our spending.”
