Visitors to the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Dog Unit Facebook site can follow the various incidents the team are involved in across three counties, from searching for missing people to tracking down a burglar.

And fans can also keep track of the latest news about the team and what they have been up to, as well as enjoy photos, videos and information about the four-legged crimefighters.

Sergeant Vicky Stoughton from the BCH Dog Unit explained: “Our Twitter account has already proved quite popular and we hope the public enjoy this new way of finding out what the team has been up to.

“The page will also provide an opportunity for people to ask us any questions they may have about our role and our dogs.”
