Pictures: Prince Charles arriving by helicopter in Bedford


HRH Prince of Wales landed in Russell Park around 10am and, alongside Bedfordshire Lord Lieutenant Helen Nellis, took the time to chat to a few visitors.
He then headed by car down The Embankment to his first engagement at Higgins: Bedford.

Hide AdThere he met numerous local dignitaries including High Sheriff Deborah Inskip, Mayor of Bedford Dave Hodgson, Chief Constable Colette Paul and Bedford and Kempston MP Richard Fuller.


He then made the short walk across St Paul’s Square, meeting the crowds, before visitin the Christmas Tree Festival in St Paul’s Church.
