After seeing his business partner suffer a heart attack, 23 year old Harry Archer decided to kick start his career in health and fitness.

The sport science graduate and competitive swimmer from Flitwick always had an interest in fitness and nutrition but decided to retrain as a personal trainer and took the plunge in 2014 to set up his own weight loss management company, Living Proof Synergy.

From stopping yo yo dieting to tackling how to manage stress in a corporate environment, Harry and his business partners Scott Rickson and Anne Archer help a wide range of clients from across the region to achieve their health and fitness goals.

Harry, pictured on the left with Scott and Anne, said: “With Scott suffering from a heart attack, I wanted to get my personal training qualifications as you can never be sure of what the future holds. Having done much research into which company to take my Level 3 Diploma with, I settled on Premier Training International as I felt they were the best in the industry. The tutors have incredible in-depth knowledge and I have since gone onto complete a further qualification in Advanced Nutrition for Weight Management.”

In less than a year, the company has built up their client base substantially and now boasts an 80 per cent retention rate. Offering monthly

cycles of workshops which cater to individual needs, Harry and the Living Proof team combine the three core components of exercise, nutrition and a healthy mindset in order to change client’s habits for good.

“Setting up Living Proof last year allowed myself and my team to combine our own expert knowledge and produce holistic development classes. Through these individuals can begin to take accountability for their own behaviours and break the weight loss/ weight gain cycle,” said Harry.

“As well as weight loss management, our team are now looking towards expanding the business further into the corporate world and have recently developed a corporate wellbeing programme to help combat capacity levels and strategies on how best to tackle stress management within businesses.”
