Schools and outdoor recreation are set to see initial lockdown changes, according to reports surfacing yesterday.

Schools are set to reopen on March 8.

Following this, it's thought 'non-essential retail' could re-open by the end of March.

From March 8, two people will be allowed to meet for 'recreation' including a coffee or a picnic in outdoor public spaces.

It is understood that non-essential retail could open by the end of March.

The 'rule of six' is expected to be reintroduced for outdoor gatherings from March 29.

Outdoor sports facilities are expected to be allowed to open that day.
