Welcome to Queen's Park: New signs go up in Bedford neighbourhood

New Welcome to Queen’s Park signs have been gone up on Ford End Road and Hurst Grove.

The move was due to a request from councillors Nesreen Akhtar and Mohammed Masud.

Cllr Akhtar said: “Queen’s Park is such a good place to live, we want to encourage pride in our part of Bedford which is a thriving community.

"We are constantly seeking ways to enhance and improve the area.”

Cllr Masud added: “Any ideas or projects local people can think of to make Queen’s Park better, please feel free to get in touch with us and we will see what we can do to help.”

Mohammad Yasin MP said, “When I was a Queen’s Park councillor I was asking for these signs, so well done to Nesreen and Masud. I am glad they are finally installed and Queen’s Park gets the recognition it deserves.”
