And Spikey Will has made it through the first heats to earn himself a place in the semi finals.

The 39-year-old said: "The TGI Friday’s competition is an exciting and welcome thing in a rather weird time. It’s been great fun to put stunts together with my wife and kids, at home in our back garden with some of the stuff we have to hand. In a time when there is no such thing as a live audience then it’s good to still be showing people what I do."

He added: "I’ve been doing stunts for a living since I was 21 and fresh out of university. My inspirations professionally are people like Rik Mayall and Michael Crawford, physical and dangerous and precise performers with a vision of what they wanted to make.

"Performing for a career has highs and lows but there is never a day I don’t appreciate how lucky I am to be able to support a family by doing the thing I love."

With a prize package including £2,000 for the winner, £5,000 donated to an NHS charity of their choice and the opportunity to perform at the iconic Covent Garden restaurant later this year, people are being invited to get off those sofas and get creative.

With plenty of time to still apply for the next five heats, there's still a chance to shine. Entrants need to send their videos to [email protected]. After a series of weekly heats then semi-finals, the Fridays Feeling Talent Show champion will be crowned after a public vote via online channels on Friday, June 5.
