U:Dance National Festival 2021: Goldington Academy students take part in virtual dance festival

Pupils at Goldington Academy were selected to take part in a major festival - virtually, of course - and got the chance to dance in a range of styles.

Run by One Dance UK, the U:Dance National Festival 2021 was an invitation-only event in celebration of youth dance across the country.

The students spent the day attending virtual workshops with professional artists exploring a range of dance styles, from afrobeats and hip hop, to contemporary and fusion.

Professional dancer and University of Bedfordshire dance lecturer, Quan Hoang, visited the school to give an in-person workshop.
