Two seriously injured in collision near Black Cat roundabout in Bedford

Bedfordshire Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Roxton Road, Roxton yesterday (Tuesday).

At about 5pm, a grey Peugeot, leaving the car park of the Roxton Garden Centre, was involved in a collision with a grey Vauxhall Astra, which was travelling south from the Black Cat roundabout.

A man in his 60s and a man in his 90s both suffered serious injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening. Additionally, a woman in her 30s had minor injuries.

PC Ben Gates, who is investigating this incident, said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed this road traffic collision, or has any information that can help us understand the circumstances leading up to the incident.

“I would like to ask any motorists who were travelling in the area at the time to review their dashcam footage and check if any of the described vehicles were captured.”
