The first event - on October 16 - is a screening of the 1922 horror film Nosferatu with a live score written and performed by film composer Chris Green.

The following week, there will be some M R James Ghost Stories told by Robert Lloyd Parry.

Due to social distancing restrictions, the capacity has been significantly reduced so booking is advised at the St Peter’s Street venue.

James Pharaoh, theatre director, said: “We are all thrilled to get our theatre open next month. We have followed all the guidance to make everybody’s visit as safe as possible and look forward to welcoming people back to a mixture of live performances and screenings.”
