A Bedford teenager has painted a collection of Disney inspired river stones to create something nice for people who are walking along the riverside. Hanifa, 14, with some assistance from her nieces five-year-old Madina and three-year-old Ariana, thought it would be a nice idea to create something that everyone could enjoy on their socially distanced walks. There are eight hidden along the riverside from riverside North, near Zizzi, along to the Butterfly bridge. Hanifa's sister-in-law Aisha Hussain, contacted Bedford Today to share the story. She said: "It has given the kids something to focus on during lockdown, and also helped them feel like they are doing something positive in these unprecedented times. We are hoping others may even decide to join in on the fun and get creative. We hope people find them and it makes them smile and then put them back for someone else to find, we wanted to do something to cheer people up in these difficult times. Hanifa received a message from someone saying that their son had found the stones and they really liked them."
