Six-year-old boy proves every litter bit hurts as he clears the streets of his Bedfordshire village

When it comes to the environment, this six-year-old certainly has a clear conscience as he's decided to pick litter in is his village.

According to mum Lousie Wall, young Theo wants to "make the world a cleaner place, one bag at a time".

So every day, he clears the streets of Marston Moretaine by collecting a bag of litter.

Lousie said: "We want to spread the word and encourage the younger generation to go out and collect litter around their local areas.

"He’s doing an amazing job. The response on our local Facebook page has been amazing, gather over 450 likes."

The youngster has been litter picking for about three weeks - roping his mum and dad into helping him out.

"Theo hates seeing litter around the streets and wants to make it a cleaner place for us and nature to live in," Lousie added.

"We could not be prouder. He is showing the world that we can all do our part, one bag at a time."
