Hide AdBack in April 2020 it was announced the NHS hero from Marston Moretaine was the first Pride of Britain winner for 2020.
But on Sunday (November 1) at 9pm, Britain will finally see the 100-year-old personally receive his Special Recognition Award, from some very special visitors.
The Daily Mirror Pride of Britain Awards will feature celebrities and public figures including HRH Prince Charles, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, David Beckham OBE, Dame Julie Walters, Dame Helen Mirren and Sir David Jason.
