Pictures give first look inside newly refurbished Bedford hotel

Guests, including Bedford Mayor, Dave Hodgson, were invited to celebrate with a Bedfordshire Afternoon Tea, followed by champagne cocktails and live entertainment. Having previously operated under the Park Inn brand, the hotel is one of six across the UK to have been signed by Danish based property group, Proark, and rebranded to Mercure. The new Mercure Bedford Centre Hotel, positioned along the River Great Ouse, will be managed by Accor.
