Ampthill’s favourite performers Maurice Kachuk has been cheering up residents by performing outside people’s homes.
Prevented from staging his annual Christmas panto in the town due to the Covid restrictions, Maurice has been putting on a song and dance routine to the delight of neighbours in the town.

"I've gone on from there and have visited various sheltered housing schemes."
But now, Maurice dons a sparkly jacket and performs Christmas songs using a busker amp to ensure the performance is Covid safe.
He added: "It's cheered a lot of people up and I'm glad to have been of service. They have stayed in their houses and have waved to me. It's also given me me something to do and think about."
