Louis Vuitton case to go under the hammer at Bedford auction house

The tan leather case, featuring brass locks inscribed with the letters LV, has an interior with a L Rue Scribe Paris label and has an estimated of between £200-£300.

It's one of the many items included in the next sale of the well-established auction house in Eastcotts Park, Wallis Way, on Friday, January 3.

Also going under the hammer is a limitation book plate called Early Dylan - The Limited Edition, 1999. It is signed by the publisher Brian Roylance.

This scarce volume features monochrome images and recollections of three of the finest photographers of the 60s, capturing Bob Dylan between 1963 and 1966. It has an estimate of £80-£120.

For any lovers of the Art Nouveau moment, a bookcase by Talwin Morris is also for sale.

It features a moulded top above three open shelves and four embossed copper plaques - together with the complete complementary set of 21 bindings.

It also incorporates a 'peacock feather' design and Peacocks say the inclusion of the original books is very scarce. This bookcase has an estimate of £800-£1,200.
