Injured motorcyclist thanks Good Samaritans after coming off his bike in Bedford

A motorcyclist who was injured after coming off his bike in Bedford, has thanked the two people who helped him.

Nick Allen, from Nottingham, had a motorcycle accident in a car park at Priory Country Park last Saturday.

He sustained a broken collarbone and his motorbike has been recovered.

He said: "I would like to thank the two men who came and lifted my bike up - it was on its side and leaking petrol.

"And in particular the lady, who I believe was connected with the NHS, who was out for a walk, but ended up spending a considerable amount of time with me, supporting me, and helping me organise help and medical attention.

"I am afraid I did not catch her name - but thank you very much."
