Central Bedfordshire Council has launched a four-week public consultation on proposals to improve cycling and walking routes in Cranfield.

The move - which also includes routes in Leighton Buzzard and Biggleswade - has been made possible due to £600,000 funding from the Government’s Active Travel Fund.

According to the council, the new travel routes aim to extend and improve existing cycle lanes and footways with enhancements including upgrading surfaces, extending kerb lines and improved signs.
