As we are all currently trapped at home - looking forward for our very own escape soon - one Bedford business has come up with a great way to pass the time.
Don’t Get Locked in Escape Rooms, in Allhallows, has developed a new experience where players can take control of a live avatar - this is a real person who wears a bodycam and headset - and communicate with them in real time.
Essentially, they become your remote eyes and ears in the room.

The game is played using a combination of Zoom video conferencing and Telescape, an inventory system, which means you can play a live virtual escape room game with anyone from anywhere in the world.
The escape room will be taking bookings from March 6 for Gin & Panic, a gin themed distillery and The Secret Hut.
The physical escape room hopes to reopen in April/May time, depending on the latest Government restrictions.
