Drivers told to avoid A421 at Bedford following road traffic collision
The road is closed
The A421 westbound, between the Bedford Road roundabout and the A6 slip road, is currently closed (Friday) while emergency services tend to a collision.
Police are asking drivers to find alternative routes to avoid congestion.
Fire crews from Bedford, Sandy and Kempston are also there.
There are delays of about 15 minutes, just over two miles of congestion.
