Police were called to a report of a concern for welfare near Mallard Hill in Bedford on Saturday (February 26) just after 7.20am.
Emergency services attended the scene but a man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death isn’t being treated as suspicious and a file has been passed to the coroner.
