Crash near Bedford village leaves three people with serious injuries

Police are investigating after a collision involving two vehicles left three people with serious injuries.

At around 9.12pm on Monday night (January 18), a red Ford Fiesta and a blue Vauxhall Vectra were involved in a crash on the A6 at Pulloxhill.

The road was temporarily closed whilst the emergency services attended the scene.

All three people were taken to hospital where one person remains with life threatening injuries and two people with life changing injuries.

Sergeant Aaron Murphy from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are working to establish the circumstances of this collision, and would like to speak with witnesses who may have seen either of the cars at the time, or prior to the incident.

“If you have a dashcam and were in the area around this time, please check your devices as you may have captured something that could help our investigation.

“This collision will have a serious impact on the lives of everyone involved, so please get in touch if you think you might be able to help.”
