An application has gone into the council's licensing authority.

It’s been submitted by Future Leisure Limited for the old Clinton Cards shop – at 19 Silver Street, Bedford.

And the company is asking for an adult gaming centre premises licence under section 159 of the Gambling Act 2005.

Future Leisure Limited – which has a head office in Middlesex – runs, amongst others, Royal Casino Slots as well as the Raging Ball, Bingo and Sports Club.

According to the public notice – which can view here – anyone who wants to have their say, can email [email protected] by April 19.

But, you must be one of the following:

A person who lives sufficiently close to the premises to be likely to be affected by the authorised activities

A person who has business interests that might be affected by the authorised activities

A person who represents someone in any of the above two categories
