Central Bedfordshire Council warns drivers of A421 closure

Central Bedfordshire Council is reminding motorists that the A421 will be closed this weekend.

The A421 will be closed from 8pm on Friday, June 19, until 6am on Monday, June 22, the road will be closed between the Eagle Farm Roundabout up to M1 Junction 13, both eastbound and westbound.

This closure is to allow for the bridleway bridge beam being lifted into place, tarmac laying and white lining works.

There is a diversion route for drivers who would normally take the A421. This route avoids villages and goes via the A421 Bedford Western Bypass and then the A422 towards Milton Keynes.
