Save the date - so says Hannah Ingram-Moore, as she's revealed the family plan to celebrate Captain Sir Tom Moore s life on April 30.

As yet, no plans have been revealed but on her father's official Twitter account, daughter Hannah tweeted that The Captain Tom Moore Foundation plan to celebrate his life on what would have been his 101st birthday.

She said: "We will make sure it is an event that everyone - in the UK and around the world - can get involved in and it will truly celebrate his generosity of spirit, the hope and joy he brought to millions and his sense of fun."

Captain Sir Tom raised almost £33million for NHS charities last year by walking 100 laps of his garden in Marston Moretaine ahead of his 100th birthday. He died at Bedford Hospital on February 2 after testing positive for Covid-19.
