B&M to open Bedford mega hub in new year - creating 300 jobs

The building at Wixams - equivalent to 16 Premier League football pitches - will be one of the largest distribution facilities in the UK.

And the discount retailer has revealed it's currently recruiting for more than 300 new jobs to work at the centre.

The depot will initially service 50 stores, ramping up to 250 stores over the first half of 2020. The mega hub represents more than £120million investment from the brand.

Job roles are advertised on the B&M careers website and range from warehouse operatives to transport (HGV class 1) roles for an immediate start.
