Mayor Dave Hodgson said: “With the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, we have not been able to mark the 75th anniversaries of VE Day or VJ Day in the way we would have liked to this year.

“We will be flying the Union Flag at Borough Hall on Saturday, August 15 to mark VJ Day, and the launch of this map will be a fascinating way to discover the local stories of the Second World War in Bedfordshire.”
