After struggling with undiagnosed dyslexia for years, she decided to turn a negative into a positive and launch a coaching business to help others.

"Back when I was at school, it was not something that was picked up on and I left school with no exams," said the 51-year-old.

But when Anita decided to go to college in her late 30s and take her English GCSE, her dyslexia was finally diagnosed and she had something of a light-bulb moment.

"I get that for some youngsters, they may not find certain things engaging as that was the case for me - but I want to make a difference. I want to help them out."

And that's when she decided to train to become a mindset coach.

And in her time, Anita - who even written a downloadable book on the subject - has helped a variety of clients, from a six year old to a 65 year old.

"All the older lady wanted to do was to read a recipe," she said. "She knew how to cook but wanted to be able to follow a recipe.

"It is just the small things in life that can make a difference - the nitty-gritty of life," said Anita, who is also, amongst other things, a qualified dyslexic coach.

And how does she help her clients?

"It is all about mindset," she said. "I teach that by thinking differently, you can help yourself. It's nothing to do with overthinking. You have to rewire your brain."

And as she relaunches her website, Anita is also hosting a vision board workshop next month at Kempston Town Council to help you change your mindset for 2020.

The three-hour session is on Saturday, January 11. You can find more details about that and Anita's story and vision on her website here
