Bedford storytellers invited to write a play for radio

Two Bedford names have got together to invite people to take part in their radio season.
Bedford Radio with Act Bedford plan to create 10 new plays, for the radio.

Hide AdThey will be written, acted and recorded by people connected to Bedford and the surrounding areas - hence their slogan - 'if you are local then get vocal'.
Paul King, of Act Bedford, said: " This is a great chance for people who have always thought they had a story in them to get it out, not just on paper but on the airways as well.
"Our friends at Bedford Radio will be having a season of winter-themed plays and they want everyone who wants to, to take part.
"If you are good at telling a story over the work desk, kitchen table or the garden fence, then it could be for you.
"After all a play is often really just two or more people having some form of dramatic chat. "
