It also has counselling rooms, lounges and holistic treatment rooms, which help keep its patients feeling supported, occupied and relaxed. The donation will go towards the hospice’s bereavement support and counselling service which supports families and carers of patients.

Shauli Ziv, general manager at Amazon in Milton Keynes, said: “We are proud to make this donation to Bedford Daycare Hospice. I would like to thank the hospice staff and volunteers for the great work they do and for all support they offer their patients.”

Linda Byer, nurse manager from Bedford Daycare Hospice, added: “We would like to say a big thank you to the Amazon team in Milton Keynes. As an independent charity, we rely on donations to continue supporting our patients and their loved ones.”

The donation was made as part of the Amazon in the Community programme.
