Bedford Foodbank appeal gets boost from Wootton staff at Christmas

Employees at Copart UK’s Wootton head office have been busy filling boxes for single people with donations of food essentials, as well as seasonal treats like Christmas puddings and chocolates.

The completed boxes were delivered to All Nations Church, which co-ordinates collections for Bedford Foodbank as part of its Christmas in a Box appeal.

Karen Langley, communications manager, said: "Copart UK has proudly supported the Christmas in a Box Appeal for many years, thanks to the generosity of our Wootton head office teammates.

"Christmas can be an especially difficult time people living in extreme financial vulnerability, so we were delighted to donate several boxes of food to this worthy cause and play a part in caring for our community.”

Copart UK’s is an online vehicle remarketing company which has its head office at Wootton.
