Schools can nominate themselves via Baker Brothers Diamonds' Facebook page
Baker Brothers Diamonds is launching a project providing support for charities, schools and community causes.
And as part of it, the family-run jeweller in St Peter's Street, is hosting an end-of-year school summer picnic for up to 100 pupils.
Baker Brothers director, Lizzie McAuley, said: “Launching our community fund will continue our dad’s legacy as he did so much for children’s charities and it was always our plan to carry this on in his memory.

“Baker Brothers has always contributed to a variety of community causes through a combination of donations and raffle prizes to boost fundraising efforts, but we wanted to do so much more to help.
"During this pandemic we’ve seen how it’s brought the community back together and highlighted how important it is to look after your community.”
To mark the launch of the community fund Baker Brothers will be providing classmates with some tasty treats.
Just nominate your school via the jeweller's Facebook page
All nominations must be received by June 30 and one lucky school will be randomly selected on July 1.
