Cauldwell councillors Fouzia Zamir and Abu Sultan bought the camera which can be moved from place to place - and is now in Victoria Road - after residents raised concerns with the councillors about anti-social behaviour in that area.

Councillor Fouzia Zamir said: “This is a very busy road, leading to Cauldwell School and Peter Pan nursery.

"When children return to school and nursery it’s important they feel safe.

"Hopefully the camera will deter people from loitering and behaving badly in this area.”

Councillor Abu Sultan added: “If anybody has concerns about other parts of Cauldwell Ward, then please let us know.

"We’ve been helping with a variety of issues throughout lockdown, and its important people continue to let us know about any problems.”
