Pedestrian put into induced coma after being hit by a car in Bedford

A pedestrian who was hit by a car has been placed into an induced coma.

Magpas air ambulance was called out to the scene in Bedford at 4.06pm on January 11,.

The woman who is in her 30s, had sustained serious injuries and was airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

She was in a serious but stable condition upon arrival at hospital.
