Pancake race is school's favourite event

The children of Great Denham Primary School had a 'flipping' good time taking part in the school's third annual pancake race.'¨The whole school donned chefs' hats and grabbed a pan for the Shrove Tuesday event, which also raised money to help improve the school's courtyard.

Headteacher Denise Burgess said the race is the children’s favourite event of the year. “They really enjoy taking part, especially flipping the pancakes, although quite a lot ended up on the playground.”
