The Bedford Chronicles have been created in partnership with The Harpur Trust as part of this year’s 450th anniversary celebrations.

450th anniversary project manager Sarah Elam said: “The Harpur Trust is delighted to be associated with The Bedford Chronicles during this, our 450th anniversary year.

“The Chronicles is a beautifully illustrated, entertaining and informative book which we hope will be enjoyed by children of all ages, and mums, dads and grandparents too.”

The event also saw the launch of new fun workshops, the forthcoming interactive Town Tours, a new theatre production, a free Town Trail and a History Club.
