It was organised by Sarah Towsey, whose sister lost her battle against cancer last year, who wanted to raise money for Cancer Research.

The fun started in the school library, with a sale of cakes made by staff, parents and pupils, raised more than £100. There were quizzes for pupils and staff and donation boxes handmade were given to each class.

The main event took place during lesson 5 when the whole school congregated on the school field to run, jog or walk, and the whole event on May 27 raised £430.
