Memories of the war
AN author is hoping that readers will share their memories.
Steven Fuller, from Great Gransden, is writing a series of detailed battalion histories for the Bedfordshire Regiment during the First World War.
He said: “Although I already have hundreds of personal stories I am always interested in more. Does anyone have interesting personal stories from their family’s archives they would like to share for possible inclusion in the series?”
He would like to hear from descendants of the regiment’s soldiers, regardless of which battalion they served in.
