On February 21,2014, Kamil Korzeniewski, 23, entered a property in Iddesleigh Road, Bedford, and assaulted three men, causing facial injuries.

In the early hours of the next morning Korzeniewski then returned to the property and repeatedly beat one of the male victims, before pouring boiling water over him.

Yesterday, (Feb 5) Korzeniewski, of Greenkeepers Lane, Great Denham, was found guilty at Luton Crown Court, of three counts of assault and one count of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Detective Constable Ian Johnson, investigating officer, said: “This was a calculated and brutal attack by Korzeniewski which caused considerable distress to all three victims, and his cruel actions have left one of the men scarred for life.

“Any type of violent behaviour is completely unacceptable. There is never any excuse for inflicting harm on others and we are pleased Korzeniewski will spend a significant time behind bars due as a result of his horrific actions.

“We are committed to fighting crime and protecting people and we’re pleased that justice has been done, which we hope will bring some level of comfort to the victims, although it can never of course undo what happened on that day.”
