Man charged over Bedford town centre robberies
A man has been charged with two counts of robbery over separate incidents in Bedford town centre.

Andrew McCleary, 36, of Cavendish Street, Bedford, was charged in connection to incidents in Tavistock Street and Boswell Place on 23 December and 27 December respectively.
He has been remanded in custody until 4 February, pending a future court appearance.
Officers continue to appeal for further information about the incident in Boswell Place and anyone who can help with their enquiries should contact police on 101, quoting reference 40/46602/18.
