Man arrested in firearms incident in Kempston
A man has been arrested after reports of gunshots from a car in Kempston yesterday evening (Thursday).
Police attended a number of locations in the town and closed Harter Road and Bedford Road.
Bedfordshire Police have not confirmed if they believe the incident is linked to the fatal collision involving a pedestrian later that evening in Kempston.
The man was taken into custody in the Harper Road area shortly before 6pm.
