Making strides towards a world free from dementia

Hundreds of people put their best foot forward to stride through Bedford’s Priory Country Park for the Alzheimer’s Society’s fundraising Memory Walk on Saturday (October 10).

They were sent on their way by 24 year old dementia scientist Nicola Voyle.

She said: “It has been an honour to launch this year’s walk and set off the hundreds of people walking for a world without dementia. It was heartwarming to see so many people coming together walking for loved ones who have been affected by this devastating condition.”
