Little ones celebrate the launch of their nursery uniform

Great Barford Lower School celebrated the launch of their new nursery uniform with a visit from Bedford Mayor, Dave Hodgson and Councillor Stephen Moon.

The nursery has been part of the school since it was approached to take over from Sunshine pre-school in April 2013.

Headteacher Sarah Evans, along with Lesley Fuller, the nursery teacher and Sarah Morton, the early years and foundation stage lead, are keen to celebrate the successful integration of the nursery into Great Barford Lower School.

Mrs Evans said: “We believe in the importance of offering our youngest children the highest quality of learning experiences. Our nursery has enabled us to do this.

“We are passionate about giving children the best education possible and our aspiration is to move the nursery into the main school eventually and achieve full integration.

“We believe with this integration standards will continue to rise.”
